Time to upgrade your smartwatch? Save up to 11% on the latest Apple Watch SE 3 and Series 11 for Black Friday, with more wearable deals from just AU$163
You can get up to 60% off other top smartwatches, too
Finally! The last weekend of November is here, and that means Black Friday sales have started. We've already been seeing Australian retailers drop heavy discounts for weeks, but Cyber Weekend itself is serving up some extra-special savings – and few are more impressive than this rare one on the new Apple Watch models.
Even Apple's Black Friday sale hasn't cut the price of its new devices. Instead, you'll get an AU$80 gift card after purchasing an Apple Watch when buying direct from the maker.
The savings here aren't huge, but considering both the Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch SE 3 launched just a few months ago, we were slightly surprised to see them discounted for Black Friday.
Since we suspect they won't last long, we've also found some alternative wearable deals you could opt for.
Not looking for a smartwatch specifically? We're offering live coverage of all the best Black Friday Apple deals to help you stay on top of the latest and greatest discounts.
In our Apple Watch SE 3 review, we called it the best Apple Watch for most people – applauding its speedy performance and classically modern looks. And while there are perhaps some arguments for choosing the Series 11 over the SE3, the latter still sits comfortably within our guide to the best Apple Watch as a more budget-friendly option. It matches the Series 11 in speed, offers solid battery life and features a compact design. You can also save on the cellular model – down 9% to AU$447.
Our tester was so happy with the Apple Watch Series 11 review, they were almost relieved to have 'a mainline Apple Watch that can go the distance'. We loved its bigger battery, more durable display and new watchOS 26 interface that adds handy health features like Sleep Score. If you want to leave your phone at home more often, you can save on the cellular model – down 6% to AU$797.
Not interested in these deals? It's relatively slim pickin's for Apple Watches right now. However, if you're willing to join the dark side and use a non-Apple smartwatch, there's quite a few attractive options.
While it's not much of a smartwatch, you can easily tell the time on this simple fitness tracker. Its display also shows how many steps you’ve taken, as well as your current heart rate. It's small and fits the wrist comfortably. Its ample battery life means it will last up to 7 days. If you're willing to wait for a German import (it ships from Amazon Germany), this is a fantastic deal.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is currently the cheapest way to get the Samsung smartwatch experience. While it's two generations behind, this deal makes it considerably cheaper than the next-best option. Moreover, it offers a huge range of features and isn’t lacking for performance thanks to an Exynos W930 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
If you're shopping for a serious fitness lover, this fantastic Garmin smartwatch deal might be what you're after. This model has many of the core features found in Garmin's more expensive offerings, including built-in GPS, the ability to store and play music, and Garmin Pay. This enables you to leave your phone at home while out running, but still tap your watch to buy a coffee on the way home.
As opposed to Samsung's usual big, bulky watches, this watch is sleek and elegant, featuring a new, much slimmer cushion shape. It also lets you access Google Gemini AI smarts right from your wrist, allowing you to complete tasks such as showing you directions or starting a workout session. And, on the fitness front, it packs advanced tools like the new Running Coach that will assign you plans based on your goals. For something more lowkey, the Galaxy Ring has been cut by AU$279.60, and we think it's the best smart ring you can currently buy.
