I'll be completely honest with you: When Calls the Heart season 13 is one of my most-anticipated TV shows of 2026.

The hit Hallmark series ended on an alarming cliffhanger last year, as season 12 drew to a close with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) taking the kids away from Hope Valley seemingly for good.

The change is thanks to Little Jack's (Hyland Goodrich) diabetes diagnosis, with the family relocating to a hospital with a fully kitted-out unit after a nasty close call in earlier episodes.

With Jack's health on the line, it doesn't feel like the quartet can be permanent Hope Valley residents any longer... or can they? With a brand-new series ahead, anything could happen.

I can hardly wait, so when will When Calls the Heart season 13 episode 1 arrive on the best streaming service for cozy drama (Hallmark, of course)?

When Calls the Heart season 13 episode 1 drops on January 4 at 5pm PST/8 pm EST on Hallmark Channel.

Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Hallmark+. For the rest of the world, there’s been no official announcement on when the latest season will become available, but Hallmark content typically lands on other services, such as Prime Video, in due course.
