I didn't love the Echo Pop when I reviewed it due to its high list price, but when it's on sale for just $21.99, it's a much more appealing offer. It's great for smaller rooms and bedrooms, given its less powerful speaker compared to larger models. It's an excellent stopping filler for less than $25, making it an easy deal to recommend.

The latest Echo Show 15 just recently saw a big refresh, bringing its specs up to speed and offering a better Alexa experience. These were the first smart displays from Amazon to see the Alexa+ treatment and, naturally, therefore offer one of the better user experiences with Amazon's gen AI-boosted subscription service, and I'd say they're a slightly better buy this Black Friday if that's your end goal.

If you do want the newest of the new, the Echo Show 8 is $20 off in its introductory Black Friday deal. It's a neat saving on Amazon's latest smart display with its fresh, floating display design and zippy AZ3 Pro chip, plus it comes with Alexa+ support out of the box. If that's of less interest, you're likely better off with one of the deals above.

Along a similar vein, the new Echo Show 11 packs much the same specs as the Echo Show 8 above, but with a larger display well-suited for kitchens and offices where bigger real estate makes for easier viewing even across the room. Its $25 introductory Black Friday deal is a small saving, but gets you the latest and greatest from Amazon.

Amazon's new Echo Dot Max is a capable little speaker. It's slightly larger than the base model Echo Dot to accommodate impressive audio smarts, including a two-way speaker system, Lossless High Definition, and Automatic Room Adaptation. Plus, it offers Alexa+ Early Access out of the box.

The latest Amazon Echo Studio will boost your home entertainment setup with spatial audio and Dolby Atmos, and it certainly put out plenty of sound when we got our hands on it at Amazon's demo event in late September. It's brand new, so this $30 price cut is the first discount it's ever had.

This is the biggest Echo Show in Amazon's collection, offering a bright and broad screen to display your widgets, TV and web browsing on. With its optional swivel stand, it's a must-have for functional spaces like kitchens and offices. $50 is a respectable saving, but I think they could have pushed this deal price a little further.

Though its wedge design looks increasingly dated alongside newer, more sophisticated models, the Echo Show 5 is on sale for only $54.99 and makes for a great little display around the home. It features a compact 5.5-inch display, impressive audio for its size and price point, and, naturally, a solid Alexa experience. It's likely the next display to see an upgrade from Amazon, too, which may well come with a list price increase; so this year's Black Friday sales might be one of the last chances.

I had to double-check when I saw this price – a staggering 73% off Amazon's handy Echo Auto. If you've ever wanted to add Alexa to your car, the Echo Auto is the device to do it - play music, make calls, and reply to texts completely hands-free.

Perfect as a bedside table companion, the Echo Spot, with its 2.83-inch touch screen with a 1.73-inch front-firing speaker, is Amazon's answer to the smart alarm clock. It's fast become a fan-favourite during sales events, and it's well worth it at this record-low price.

We've seen this model drop as low as £17.99 in years prior, but this low price still slashes 45% off the list price of Amazon's most affordable Echo Speaker. In my review, I noted its retail price was far too lofty for its quality and specs, but at nearly half price, it's a much more attractive offering.

For a more robust sound from one of Amazon's smaller speakers, the Echo Dot is your go-to, and one of the brand's best-selling devices. As well as the full Alexa experience and decent audio specs, this model features a temperature sensor.

This kid-friendly smart speaker is less than half price for Black Friday, and would make a great Christmas gift. Not only does it look cuter than the regular Dot, it has parental controls and comes with a year of Amazon Kids+ content bundled in.

It's rare the UK gets such a significantly better deal than the US, but here it is: the Echo Show 15 is a whopping £70 off for Black Friday, its lowest-ever price, and one of the best deals on Amazon devices I've seen so far. I loved testing mine as a kitchen aid, and while it's not quite as sophisticated-looking as the new Show 8 or 11, the fact that it's wall-mountable and can work in landscape or portrait orientation really sells it for me.

For the snazziest, newest gadget where money is no object, the Echo Show 8 is £20 off in its first-ever Black Friday deal. While we won't have the benefit of Alexa+ in the UK for some time, the redesigned floating display and zippy AZ3 Pro chip might be enough to justify the otherwise moderate savings. It's a solid device, but if the best deal is your primary concern, read on for my recommendations.

The brand new Echo Studio has also received its first-ever price cut, with £20 off for Black Friday. It boasts bigger and better sound than its predecessor to boost your home cinema setup, and you can pair two up for a surround-sound experience. At this price, that's a much more tempting prospect.

Whether you want the smarter audio features like Lossless High Definition and Automatic Room Adaptation, or just love the idea of a more premium-looking speaker with faster Alexa responses, the Echo Dot Max is a great choice. It's just a shame we don't get access to the Alexa+ Early Access in the UK.

Small but mighty, the 2023 Echo Show 5 still features that slightly chunky wedge shape sported by Echo Shows of yore, but if you can look past that, it's still a very capable smart display. It offers a compact 5.5-inch display and impressive sound for its size.
