Some Cyber Monday Meta Quest 3 and 3S deals are still live – but they're selling out quickly
You can still save on Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S headsets
Cyber Monday is over and with it several deals have gone the wya of the dinosaurs. That said, there are a couple of Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S deals to be found in the US and UK. This includes a $50 Quest 3S discount at Walmart and getting the Meta Quest 3 proper for £444.99 at Argos (a whole £25 off, which isn't big but isn't nothing).
Unfortunately other better deals on the Quest headsets have no sold out, so this is what we're left with following Cyber Monday and Black Friday.
If you're desperate to still grab one of the headsets before Christmas these deals are your best bet, but I'd almost recommend holding off for something better in the New Year sales or similar if you can wait.

This isn't the best deal we've seen the past few weeks, but Best Buy's $50-off plus free $50 gift card deal has expired. So now we're left with a simple $50 discount at Walmart, which isn't too bad in fairness just not quite as excellent.

This Meta Quest 3 deal isn't the biggest, but it is the best deal I spotted from a reputable retailer over Cyber Monday and it's still live. I love my Meta Quest 3 and think it's well worth the higher price, though a cheaper Quest 3S is hard to ignore...
This Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S are the best, and second-best VR headsets out there for most folks.
Hardware-wise, they are both impressive devices with very similar solid specs. Their RAM and Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chipsets are powerful enough to play the full suite of HorizonOS software we have at our disposal – including exclusives like Batman: Arkham Shadow and Marvel’s Deadpool VR – and they're both only a little over 500g which makes them fairly comfortable over exteded play sessions (I've use them for hours on end just fine).
But their real winning factor is the HorizonOS platform. The Quest ecosystem is, without a doubt, the best standalone VR platform in terms of software breadth, as anything you want to do in VR is very likely possible on Quest. The same can't be said for its rivals.
The difference between the headsets (other than price) is their displays. The Quest 3 is outfitted with pancake lenses, which not only slim down the machine but also wipe out the blurriness at the fringes that can appear in the Quest 3S's fresnel lenses.
That said, considering the Quest 3S is currently around half the price of the Quest 3 in both the US and UK, this downgrade can be easy to ignore, and right now, while I usually would give the Quest 3 the win, I can see the argument that the Quest 3S is in fact the world's best VR headset.
