Is someone having a party they didn't tell me about? I test loads of the best cheap earbuds, and I just checked online to see that five of my favorite options are all reduced – including some of my favorites.
Case in point: the Nothing Ear (a) for just $59 at Amazon in the US (and £70 in the UK). I acquired a pair of these at launch in April 2024, and I've since been telling everyone that they're fantastic value for their price. Well, apparently that 'price' is half of what I thought it was. Here's our Nothing Ear (a) review, which I totally agree with.
Those are far from the only great-value cheap buds on offer right now, though. For example the JLab Go Pods ANC are just $24.99 at Amazon US (and £29.99 in the UK). generally the buds we recommend to people looking to spend less than $40. They're well under that right now, though, and are basically the cheapest earbuds I'd recommend currently – here's my JLab Go Pods ANC review.
Got a bit more to spend? Let me introduce you to the Skullcandy Method 360 for $89 at Amazon US (and £69 in the UK) well-fitting bassy buds that recently saw a successor arrive in the form of the Skullcandy Method 540. My review of the Method 540 hasn't gone live yet, but I'll give you a sneak preview: these older Method 360 buds are better value for money. That's doubly true with this discount. Here's my Skullcandy Method 360 review.
There's a couple more I'd recommend with Presidents' Day sales coming up, including some Sony buds, so here are my big five budget buds to buy right now:

Nothing's budget earbuds have hit their lowest-ever price, which is a 46% discount on their initial asking price. All three color options are discounted – I don't know if a new model is coming or something, but I don't care. This is an amazing price for earbuds that were a bargain at their MSRP, as we said in our five-star Nothing Ear (a) review.

The $12 saving on these buds is about a third of the asking price. I've never seen them sell for less than $25 before, and all four color options are reduced. Go for the Sage ones, they're classy, and and I said in my JLab Go Pods ANC review, they punch way above their budget.
UK: £29.99 at Amazon

Skullcandy Method 360: was $129.99 now $89.99 at Amazon
There's currently a $40 discount on these 2025 earbuds. Admittedly, we've seen these go to $74.99 before, but if you missed that discount, $90 is still a sold price for these buds with sound tuning by Bose – I was very positive on them in my Skullcandy Method 360 review.

Shall we go back to something pretty cheap? A stalwart in any audio list has to be Sony, and when we're talking about low-cost buds I've tested, it's Sony WF-C510 you need to pay attention to. Like the Nothings, they're a bit older, having come out in 2024. These were fantastic-value, great-sounding earbuds, even at the original price –. for 31% off, that's even more true, though we've seen them go down to $38 in the past, making the Nothings the better deal in my opinion.

If you want something really specific, there's another deal on the OnePlus Buds 4. These are pretty decent in most regards, but have pretty great noise cancellation for low-cost buds. It's something to consider, if you've gone through the other four buds and aren't convinced. This isn't the cheapest we've seen OnePlus' most recent earbuds sell for, as they've been $10 lower over Black Friday, but it's still a good price for these mid-range buds.
